Hot Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pounds ground beef
    2 quarts tomato juice
    2 green pepper, chopped and diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 - 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon red pepper spices
    1 - 12 ounce jar picante sauce - hot
    1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce - tabasco
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/2 teaspoon oregano
    1 tablespoon maple syrup
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 cans - 16 ounce, whole tomatoes, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cans of kidney beans
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in a skillet.
    Drain.
    Combine all ingredients except kidney beans in a Dutch oven or stock pot.
    Cook on low for 2 to 3 hours until ingredients are tender and well blended.
    Add kidney beans to mixture.
    Cook until thoroughly heated.
    Can be made in slow cooker or crock pot before adding beans.
