Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 red apples, peeled and diced
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1/3 c. cinnamon
Preparation
    Butter a 10 x 6-inch dish.
    Fill 3/4 full of sliced apples. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and egg.
    Spread over apples.
    Pour melted butter over and sprinkle cinnamon over top.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serve with ice cream, if desired.
    Serves 5 to 6.
