Poppy Seed Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. evaporated milk
5 eggs
1/2 c. milk
5 c. flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. poppy seed
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine sugar, evaporated milk, eggs and milk.
In a separate bowl sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add wet ingredients to dry, then mix in poppy seed and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
Pour batter into greased muffin tins, 3/4 full and bake 40 minutes.
Serve warm.
Makes 2 dozen.
