Gingerbread Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Cool 5 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients, except 2 tablespoons of sugar.
    Spread in greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
    Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
    Cool 5 minutes.
    Cut into bars.
