Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 1/2 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
    1/2 c. cold water
    4 c. raw cranberries, ground
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cook sugar and 1 cup water to make a thin syrup.
    Add gelatin which has been soaked in 1/2 cup cold water.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Cool.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Pour into an 8 cup mold and chill.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
