Strawberry Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pt. strawberries
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 cakes cream cheese
1/2 c. whipping cream

Preparation

Crush berries well, mix with sugar and lemon juice.
Mix small portion at a time with cream cheese until well blended.
Fold in whipped cream.
Pour into refrigerator trays and freeze until firm.
Serve in slices on lettuce leaf.
May be used with crushed pineapple, drained also, or with mashed bananas in place of strawberries.
Omit lemon juice.
