Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground round (lean)
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
1 lb. can tomatoes
2 c. water or more as needed
1 can kidney beans
1 tsp. chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. thinly shredded cabbage
1 pkg. okra (optional)
Preparation

Brown beef, then add onion and celery and saute 5 minutes. Add all but cabbage and bring to a boil. Turn heat to low and cook about 45 minutes. Add cabbage and cook until tender.
