Our Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 tsp. vanilla
    sugar
Preparation
    Combine flour and pecans.
    Set aside.
    Mix butter, 2 tablespoons sugar and vanilla; now add flour/pecan mixture.
    Roll dough on lightly floured surface.
    Either cut in strips or use biscuit cutter to make round ones.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 on greased cookie sheet for 15 minutes.
    While still warm, sprinkle with sugar.
