Blue Ribbon Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. baking cocoa
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2/3 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. boiling water
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Combine cocoa and soda.
    Blend in 1/3 cup melted butter.
    Add boiling water and stir well.
    Stir in sugar, eggs and remaining melted butter.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
