Pear Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 peck pears with peeling
1 qt. cider vinegar
1 lb. sugar
1 Tbsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. celery seed
8 red sweet peppers
4 green sweet peppers
2 hot peppers
4 medium onions
Preparation

Grind fruit together and drain 15 minutes.
Mash all lumps out of turmeric and mustard.
Add this and other seasoning to vinegar and sugar and boil hard for 15 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Add well drained fruit and boil for 5 minutes, then simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir often.
Put into prepared jars and seal.
Process 10 minutes at simmering temperature.
