Angel Food Cake(Mom'S) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar, sifted
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. cold water
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Slowly add the sugar, flour, cream of tartar and salt.
Mix in cold water and vanilla. Continue to beat until well blended.
Bake in preheated oven at 325\u00b0 in angel food pan, that has not been greased or floured, for about 1 hour.
Test for doneness.
Serve with ice cream or fruit sauce. May be iced, if desired.
