Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced Vidalia onions
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. mushroom soup, undiluted
    Pepperidge Farm cornbread stuffing mix (about 1 1/2 c.)
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter just until tender-crisp.
    Mix sour cream with the mushroom soup and pour over onions.
    Gently fold together.
    Place in a 9 x 9-inch casserole dish.
    In a frying pan, stir Pepperidge Farm cornbread stuffing mix into a bit of melted butter.
    Spoon on top of onion mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
