Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 egg, beaten
    lukewarm water
Preparation
    Cut shortening, sugar and salt into flour with pastry blender. Make a hole in dry ingredients.
    Add yeast that had been dissolved in one cup warm water with 1 tablespoon sugar.
    Add egg and beat dough as you add the warm water to make a dough that is easy to work with (knead well).
