Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 well beaten egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add well beaten egg; add baking powder.
    Chill and slice.
    Mix cinnamon and sugar; add vanilla with small\tamount\twater.\tBrush
    tops of cookies with pastry brush.
    Sprinkle
    on
    cinnamon
    and
    sugar\tmix.
    Top with nut half.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until slightly brown.
