Butter-Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

1 qt. thin sliced pared potatoes
1/3 c. butter
Preparation

In 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish, arrange 1/3 of potatoes. Dot with 1/3 of butter; dash with salt and pepper.
Repeat with two more layers.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 425\u00b0 about 40 minutes.
To brown, uncover last 10 minutes.
