Cocoa Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together except vanilla and butter.
Cook rapidly being careful it does not boil over until soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter.
Set in pan of cold water until consistency of caramel.
Beat hard until mixture thickens and the spoon grates on bottom of the pan.
Pour into buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.
Cool and cut into 1-inch squares.
Turn upside down on waxed paper and separate into pieces.
Yield:
16 squares.
