Cherry Cobbler - cooking recipe

1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 c. fresh, frozen or canned unsweetened pitted tart red cherries
1/3 c. water
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

For biscuit topping, in medium mixing bowl, stir together the flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, baking powder and salt.
Using a pastry blender, cut in 2 tablespoons margarine and mix until resembles coarse crumbs.
Make a well in center, then set the dry mixture aside.
