Jello "Poke" Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 small pkg. jello (any flavor, but red is best)
    1 container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions in oblong pan.
    Let cool and poke holes in cake with a fork.
    Mix jello with 1 cup hot water and pour over cake.
    Refrigerate cake for 2 hours.
    Frost with Cool Whip before serving.
