Alabama Biscuits - cooking recipe

3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. sugar
3 tsp. melted shortening
1 c. milk
1 cake yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
Preparation

Mix as other biscuits; roll out on pastry sheet.
Cut, put in pans and let rise one hour.
Bake 12 minutes at 425\u00b0.
