Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. coarsely grated raw carrots
    1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Combine sugar, Crisco oil and eggs; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add to Crisco oil mixture and beat at low speed for 1 minute.
    Add grated carrots and nuts.
    Spread batter in greased and floured 9 1/2 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool.
