Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    1 c. brown or white sugar
    1 c. oil
    2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. molasses
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon.
    (Save 1 cup for crumbs on top of cake.)
    To remaining flour mixture, add molasses, water, baking soda and oil.
    Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 1/4-inch pan. Spread 1 cup flour mixture on top.
    Bake for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
