Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. fine breadcrumbs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 Tbsp. grated onion
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 (5 oz.) can water
1 egg
vegetable oil
1 (12 oz.) jar chili sauce
1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
juice of 1/2 lemon
Preparation

Combine beef, breadcrumbs, salt, nutmeg, onion, milk, water and egg.
Mix well and shape into 1-inch balls.
Cook meatballs in hot oil until browned.
Combine chili sauce, jelly and lemon juice; add to meatballs and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
Yield: 2 dozen.
