Normandy-Style Chicken(Poulet Saute' D' Yuetot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken, cut up
    4 Tbsp. vegetable or canola oil
    3 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
    1/4 c. calvados or apple cider or apple juice
Preparation
    Salt and pepper chicken.
    Saute in oil.
    Spread chopped apples in layer in bottom of casserole.
    When the chicken is half cooked, remove from skillet and place in casserole on top of apples. Deglaze skillet with 1/4 cup apple liquid.
    Add to chicken.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Serves 4.
