Whipped Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. icing sugar
    1 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. flour
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream together, then whip with electric beater for 10 minutes. Drop from spoon on cookie sheet.
    Trim with piece of cherry, if desired, or nuts.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 or 350\u00b0 oven until brown around edges.
