Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks oleo
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. smooth peanut butter
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal (not instant oatmeal)
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients in Dutch oven.
When melted and at full boil, boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until melted.
Stir in oatmeal and coconut.
Mix until well coated and spoon onto waxed paper by tablespoons.
Allow to set and serve.
