Homemade Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    5 c. flour
    baking soda
    coarse salt
Preparation
    In large bowl, dissolve yeast in a little of the water.
    Add rest of water, brown sugar and flour.
    Knead 3 to 5 minutes until dough is smooth and elastic.
    Cover and rest 15 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Fill large pot with water and add 1 tablespoon baking soda for each cup of water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cut dough into 24 equal pieces; form into pretzels.
