Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. apple cider
    brown sugar
    1 bag spices
    garnish: orange slices and cinnamon sticks (if desired)
Preparation
    Heat apple cider in a large saucepan or slow cooker.
    Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
    Add spices and simmer 15 minutes.
    Pour into mugs.
    Garnish with slices of orange and cinnamon sticks, if desired.
    Makes 8 servings.
