Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. red beans
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp. salt
2 bay leaves
ham hocks and smoked sausage, cut up
cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation

Wash and soak red beans. Drain. Saute all other ingredients. Cover beans with water in a large pot.
Add other ingredients. Bring to a boil.
Lower heat and simmer for 1 hour.
Make sure that beans are tender.
Serve over rice.
