Cranberry Ice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 qt. cranberries
    1/4 c. cool water
    1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
    2 c. sugar
    1 pt. (16 oz.) ginger ale
Preparation
    Drop cleaned cranberries into boiling water.
    When berries pop, remove from heat and press through sieve.
