Sausage Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
    1 lb. sausage (room temperature)
Preparation
    Make dough:
    Mix together the shortening, flour and milk. Dough will leave sides of bowl.
    Roll dough into rectangles about 1/4-inch thick.
    Spread sausage to almost edge of dough.
    Roll up like jelly roll, starting at long edge.
    Slice about 1/2-inch thick.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 25 to 30.
    Freezes well.
