2 c. sugar
2/3 c. margarine, softened
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. salad oil
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar until blended, light and fluffy; reduce speed to low. Add flour, milk, cornstarch, oil, baking powder, salt, vanilla and eggs; beat until mixed. Increase speed to high; beat 2 minutes. Spoon batter into 3 (9-inch) pans (greased). Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0. Frost with Lemon Buttercream Frosting.
