Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box German chocolate cake
1 pkg. (14 oz.) caramels
1/2 c. butter
1 c. (5.3 oz.) evaporated milk
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Mix cake according to directions on box.
Pour half of batter into prepared 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 15 minutes.
Melt caramels with butter and milk; pour over cake.
Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips over caramel layer.
Cover with rest of batter and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer at 350\u00b0.
Can serve with whipped cream.
