Strawberry-Applesauce Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. applesauce
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 small can pineapple, drained
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon hearts
    2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. celery
Preparation
    Dissolve jello and cinnamon hearts in boiling water; cool. Add applesauce.
    Pour 1/2 of this mixture into oblong dish.
    Let chill until set.
    Beat cream cheese (room temperature) with a little added pineapple juice until smooth.
    Add pineapple, pecans and celery.
    Spread over cooled jello, then pour remaining jello mixture on top.
    Chill until set.
    Cut into squares to serve.
