Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 onions
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. milk
    1 c. buttered cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Slice and quarter onions; boil until tender.
    Drain.
    While onions are cooking, make white sauce.
    Melt margarine in saucepan. Add flour, salt and pepper.
    Cook 1 minute.
    Slowly add the milk and stir until boils; boil 1 minute.
    In a
    1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish, layer onions, white sauce, cracker crumbs, onion, white sauce and cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Serves 6.
