Wassail - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. cranberry juice
1 gal. apple cider
1 qt. pineapple juice
1 1/4 c. sugar
5 sticks cinnamon
3 tsp. whole cloves
2 to 3 tsp. whole allspice
Preparation

In large boiler, mix cranberry juice, apple cider and pineapple juice.
Heat and dissolve sugar in juices.
Using cheesecloth or something similar, bag up the cinnamon, cloves and allspice.
Put bag in juice mixture and simmer at least 1 hour.
Refrigerate when done.
Heat before serving.
