Bellevue Blueberry Crunch - cooking recipe

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
3 c. fresh blueberries
1 c. sugar, divided
1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Spread pineapple (and juice) in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Scatter blueberries over pineapple. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup sugar. Sprinkle cake mix all on top. Drizzle butter over cake mix, then sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Top with pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes. If desired, broil for 1 minute after baking to brown the top.
