Chocolate Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 Swiss chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. butter
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine caramels and 1/2 cup milk in double boiler.
    Stir over medium heat until melted.
    Keep warm.
    Combine cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup canned milk.
    Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Spread half of batter in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
    Cool 2 minutes and spread caramel mix carefully over baked layer.
    Sprinkle caramel layer with chips.
    Stir nuts into remaining batter.
    Drop by spoonfuls over caramel mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
