Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. persimmon pulp
    1 c. raisins (optional)
    1 c. ground pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add egg. Blend in dry ingredients.
    Fold in pulp, raisins and nuts.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
