Wheat Soup(Shourbat Amh) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. meat with bones
    1 c. burghul or cracked wheat
    4 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil (Crisco)
    16 c. water
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. cumin (ground)
    10 peppercorns
    1 cinnamon stick, broken to pieces
    1/2 tsp. coriander (ground)
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Soak wheat overnight; place all the spices in a piece of cloth to form a sac.
    Strain the wheat and place in a pot with the meat. Add the spice cloth, reduce heat and cook for 40 minutes.
    Remove the meat and spices; puree the broth and then strain.
    Add the meat, tomatoes, oil and salt to the soup.
    Cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
    Serve hot.
