Buttermilk Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. fryer, chilled overnight
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    flour for dredging
Preparation
    Soak fryer in buttermilk 1 hour before frying.
    Mix flour (about 1 cup) with seasonings and roll cut up chicken in it.
    In a heavy skillet, cook chicken in hot fat, covered, a few minutes, then remove lid and brown slowly.
    Serves 4.
