Hello Dollies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
    1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
    Line basin of serving bowl with sponge fingers, ladyfingers or pound cake slices. Do not use American cake mix-type cake as sponge must be a little dry. Cover sponge layer with strawberry, raspberry or blackberry jam preserves. Pour rum or sherry over the top of mixture. Mix strawberry or other jello. Let chill until thickened. Pour over sponge/jam mixture. Mix vanilla pudding and let cool.
    When jello layer is set, add a layer of fruit. Cover with cooled custard. Shortly before serving, add whipped topping or whipped cream. Garnish as desired.
