Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    olive oil (to cover bottom of pan)
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 small can tomato paste plus a little water
    1 large and 1 small can tomatoes (pureed, if desired)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. parsley
    salt, pepper and crushed red pepper to taste
    1 small can mushrooms
Preparation
    Brown garlic in olive oil; add paste and water.
    Simmer 10 minutes; add tomatoes and spices.
    Cook 4 hours.
    Add onions and mushrooms about half time.
    For a special touch, steam and brown fresh Italian sausage links and add to sauce immediately.
