Cheese Rarebit - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. American or Cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. beer or ale
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Cut cheese into pieces.
Melt butter in top of double boiler. Add cheese.
As it melts gradually, add beer, stirring constantly with wooden spoon.
Add paprika and mustard.
Stir mixture until cheese is melted.
Serve on toast.
