Chicken Paprikas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chopped onion
4 Tbsp. shortening (not oleo or oil)
1 Tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. salt
4 to 5 lb. chicken, cut in pieces
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
Preparation

Saute onion in shortening; add seasonings and chicken and saute about 12 minutes.
Cover and simmer slowly until chicken is tender.
Remove chicken.
Add sour cream to pan drippings and mix well.
Put chicken on platter and pour the gravy mixture over noodles.
Serves 4 to 6.
