Irene Shelmidine'S Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. ripe tomatoes
    1 qt. potatoes
    2 carrots
    2 peppers (1 hot)
    1/4 c. salt
    4 onions
    3 stalks celery
Preparation
    Grind potatoes, onions, celery, carrots and peppers.
    Cook until tender.
    Add tomatoes, which have been ground, and cook a few minutes longer.
    Place in jars and seal.
