Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter (room temperature)
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream butter and Crisco and add sugar.
Beat and add eggs one at a time.
Add vanilla and lemon juice.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt and add alternately with milk.
Bake in a tube pan for one hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Grease tube pan with Crisco and dust with flour.
Don't preheat oven and don't peek!
