Delicious Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar (1 c. at a time)
4 eggs (1 at a time)
3 c. plain flour
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. lemon
1 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
Sift flour and baking powder together and add alternately with milk, starting with flour and ending with flour.
Add flavorings and mix well.
Bake in a 10-inch greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
