Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. round steak
    3 Tbsp. flour
    pepper salt
    monosodium glutamate
    1 tsp. oregano
    3 medium onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pt. fresh mushrooms
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 (No.3) can tomatoes, strained
    2 c. beef stock or bouillon
Preparation
    Mix flour, pepper salt, monosodium glutamate and oregano. Dredge steak with seasoned flour and brown in skillet.
    Place in flat baking pan.
    Saute onions, garlic and mushrooms in cooking oil for 3 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and beef stock.
    Cook a minute longer.
    Pour sauce over steak and cover pan but not completely.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours.
