Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1/4 c. butter
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Set aside 2/3 cup of cake mix.
    Combine rest of cake mix with butter and beaten egg.
    Stir by hand until crumbly.
    Press evenly into bottom and 1-inch up sides of a 9 x 13-inch pan, ungreased. Bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
