Chocolate-Filled Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. chilled butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. dark brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    pecan halves (for decorating)
Preparation
    Combine flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, butter and 1 egg with a pastry blender.
    Form into a ball and divide in half. Shape each half into a 12-inch rope and place on a baking sheet. Flatten to 1/8-inch and flute edges as for pie crust.
    If handling causes dough to soften, chill 15 minutes before baking.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Bake shortbread 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cool.
